Agility 50 / Re: Problem when the scooter gets warm

84 main sounds lean according to some of the posts i'v read, but a plug chop is always the best way to determine.
I have an 08 and just cleaned my carbs last weekend...definitely recommended.

Agility 50 / Idle screw
« on: April 25, 2011, 12:12:50 PM »
In the manual it says:

CARBURETOR IDLE SPEED
Remove the inspection cover. Warm up the engine before this operation. Start the engine and connect a tachometer. Turn the throttle stop screw to obtain the specified idle speed.
Idle Speed: 1900  (plus or minus 100rpm)

Where do I attach the tach?

Agility 50 / Roller/Sliders
« on: April 19, 2011, 12:45:24 PM »
I have a 2008 ag50 with 4000km on it and wanted to know when is good for a variator/rollers/slider swap.
I live in Amsterdam Holland/Netherlands and we don't have any hills. I read allot of roller posts but wanted to get an idea of what y'all think the range or roller weights  I should try out? Are sliders better?

A windscreen is a must here in Amsterdam.
On another note I was always told that it is better to derestrict before the brake in period, at least that is what they do here for all the customers who want a new derestricted scooter.

A couple guys here have used the two point mount units and just added a little padding to reduce the rattle, but I think if you are buying new then go with a four point. I live in Europe so I  went with Biondi.

codger78,

The windscreen is sturdy with no rattle.

Agility 50 / Re: Cold Start problem, 5 min / How to fix ?
« on: March 08, 2011, 06:08:26 AM »
Codger is right these ag 50's really need to warm up a little tbefore your ride.
I bought my ag for christmas in the middle of a snow storm and was a little worried about it's cold starting and warmup time, but I feel both improved a  little when I adjusted the valves and replaced the spark plug (I found the iridium unit started my ag better in the cold weather). These carbs can be adjusted for the cold which helps with starting but you still need a couple minutes of warmup time while you get your gloves and helmet on :)

We have tons of extra agility parts here in Amsterdam, but shipping may be pricy:(
Do you lose any storage space and is it a direct swap?

Ya hot seats sound good  :)

These guys make waterproof seat warmers for motorbikes which can be cut to fit our 50's.
Anyone know how much extra amps our electrical system can handle?
These warmers need 10amp continuous.
How many amps draw are fog lights?

Another reason to do the work ourselves.
CVT covers are very cheap here in the Netherlands, but I like to believe if I keep the whole assembly lubed and all the bolt tightened to spec I won't have any problems. Hers to hoping right!

Electric starter is working great....Thanks for all the help you guys/girls.
AXY the manual was priceless, without it i would have never figured out the start switch itself had gone bad.
