Boggy Running S8 150
« on: September 15, 2020, 09:48:02 PM »
My Super 8 150 has had running issues for a month.  It started bogging at speeds over 30, when accelerating the throttle did nothing and eventually it died.  I replaced the carb, spark plug, set valve clearance at 4mm top and 5mm bottom, then verified connections of hoses and wires.  It runs but again bogs at speeds over 30mph.  I ordered a gas cap that I can drill holes in, on the way, but feel like this could be more than that.  I'm not mechanically inclined but can figure things out with guidance. My guess is vacuum line clamped/crimped, which I have not found as of yet after looking and tracing hoses.
Any advice would be great.
Bought this 2009 as new and have not had issues like this before.
