In case you missed it, on FB I suggested laying a towel, or sheet of cloth under the seat and draped over the sides as a buffer between the side panels and your saddle bags. Could help stop the abrasion problems that you mentioned.

Clear 3M protective film (think clear bra on a car) on the side panels is a better solution.

Managed to wash finally the bike and take some photos.
I hope they are good.

Thanks! Got any side shots too?
From the top of the black fairing trim (between light and shield) to the top of the screen, how tall?
That picture angle makes it look extremely tall on the bike, taller than the Givi.
I thought the Faco was smaller, mid-size between the Givi and the Oem screen.

Anyone else done long trips?
Looking for a scooter for my wife (she has a yager now) that she can ride from Colorado to California and also down to Southern Mexico. Need a solution for 3000-5000 mile trips.

Saw a super low mileage  Forza going for $2500.
Considered buying it....but never will buy anything again on 2 wheels that doesn't have ABS.
Stig

I'm with you on that these days.
I think the ABS option is going to steer my choice above all for my wife.
That leaves me with Forza and BV, plus the BV has traction control.
Is Kymco adding abs to any new scoots for 2018?
I've still got an eye open towards Yamaha and hopefully the X-max 300 comes to the US in 18.

It was from an Italian seller at eBay, bit he doesn't have any similar items.
The code of this item is FACO 22676.

Thought my Yager was all I needed until the wife INSISTED I get a new bike which was the DT300i. Yager still is a great bike. Too bad they stopped production. That is where they shoulda put another 25 ccs!

Karl

Considering a DT300i, Forza 300, BV350 & CityCom for my wife's larger touring scoot (Yager for around town)
What is your impression?
Seat too low? Not enough leg room?
I've heard that alot.

How do you drain the coolant?
Peak Global 50/50 is the coolant I use in everything.
Easy to find at Walgreens.
http://peakauto.com/products/antifreeze-coolants/automotive/global-lifetime-50-50/
It's ideal for scooters and motorcycles as it's silicate and phosphate free as well as 2-EH (ingredient in Dex-Cool/Deathcool)
It mixes with any coolant so if you don't drain all your existing coolant (a pocket is left) it will mixed just fine with that.
It's highly regarded on Bob Is The Oil Guy.

It's a nice scooter but one SYM never seemed to push on the dealers. Few if any on the floor.
That's if you can find a dealer.

I've loved my SYMs but now three years after their effort to build dealer network I'm not so sure.
Great bikes crappy dealer network.

AMAC
Yeah it's almost like they are non-existant.
I've heard parts are hard to come by and $$$.
True?

Do bear in mind that the 2016+ Citycom 300I is pretty much the same body but different engine that has much better power, & from what I can find similar or slightly better MPG.
It's a bike I'd like to see in the flesh, maybe test ride, but so far nogo on that around here.  I'm debating downsizing my B650.  A nice bike, but I've been enjoying lighter bikes more of late.  Perhaps the summer riding season will convince me to keep it.

I've seen on the website they went with the larger motor that was found for years in other markets.
Not sure if it's a bore or stroke difference, but not really a new motor per say.
More power is always key in the mountains.
I sat on 1 last year and it was comfy for sure.
Many say the motor is solid but switches etc on SYM are junk.

I also have a 30' inseam and i use the foot forward.
Yes they are two high but i use them 1 leg at a time. Done 2500 miles that way and not as problem.
Both up and its exam time....

Here's what it comes down to.
The forza has less power more weight. To me the ride was about the same as the DT but the Honda motor is smoother. You also get ABS and i wont start that discussion.

The DT. No recall no issues.

The honda is a honda and you'll pay honda prices.
