Problem starting kymco agility
« on: March 05, 2015, 01:16:02 PM »
Hello,

This is my first time visiting this forum, I registered because I have a problem with my Kymco.

A few weeks ago during the ride my Kymco died, and it won't start again.

I have replaced my spark plug, spark plug kable and ignition coil. There is enough gasoline in the tank.

the spark plug sparks, so that doesn't seem to be the problem.

does anybody have an idea what the problem could be?

Thanks in advance!

Check valve clearance and test cylinder compression . . requires 10mm adapter (a local auto parts store may offer a rental set).

Is the battry good. On these scoots they run on a dc.cdi box.which means the battery needs to keep a good charge all the time to help scoot runn good.

How many KM's are on the scoot? Did you check there was plenty of oil? Could be a million different things.

Is the kill switch on/off? Is the spark plug getting spark, test it. Is the carb getting fuel? Is the fuse/s blown located near the batt compartment?

Does the starter engage if so and the starter works there's probably something in your fuel line
