get me rolling again ~ flat tire kit
« on: October 22, 2022, 04:08:39 PM »
"Slime" pump, patch kit - and back-up hand pump to save battery (my Liberty has a puny 6Ah battery), a pen style air gauge and pliers to pull the nail/screw.
Have used the kit at home and on the road.
I also carry a tire valve which can be installed road-side - externally.
The little hand pump is pretty effective - pushes a lot of air.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Same here. Small hand pump from the bicycle shop, good quality, and slim kit plugs. Worked good on the motorcycles  years past. Have not used it on the scooters to date.

Have similar Stig, but use small Co2 gas canisters tom reinflate tyre.  Has saved my bacon more than once.
Regards & ride safe,
