Look through the posts under mods i think. Tuned pipe, variator/ clutch mods, cdi box, cylinder/carb swap, larger rear tire...NOS you can affordably get 50 mph +

And obvious, yet not-that-funny solution: sell it and buy Agility 125.

I always enjoy getting the MOST out of anything that runs. If I was running a 1350ci Harley, I would still be tweaking.

I get it, yet, when I think about performance, Harley is not exactly the first thing on my mind. >:)

Well, maybe I will make a lot of people angry, but I would rather drive a good 2stroke 50 cc scooter than any custom bike. :)
For me it is either scooter or naked/sport bike. Do not care at all about enduro, touring, cross or customs.

...most of the harley riders that I meet on my usual ride to work and back give me the "down-finger wave"..now, since I've been riding this thing for nearly 2 years..however 95% of the rest of them I meet act like they don't even know I'm there..lol...

..I usually ride with my feet on the back foot-rests, in a kinda "sport-bike" posture..and I particularly enjoy watching them start the wave...then realize that I'm on a scooter...and they quickly pull their hand back, or act like they're scratchin' their leg...it's so funny...

peace

Hey guys,
I just bought my first Kymco.... a 50cc 4-stroke "Like 50" model in black.
Just had a question or two.
1/ what is my scoot called in other markets Overseas... I'm in Australia and here it's a "Like 50".
2/ is 2T two-stroke and 4T a 4 stroke?
3/Where the hell can I get a CDI box for this thing????

I hope someone has the answers!  ???

Thanks, Josh.

Hey This threads a little old You could probably get quite a bit of info in the super 8 and agility sec.2t is 2 stroke and 4t 4 stroke.I have not seen the like 4t here in the states. Most kymco 50 4t are based off the same motor, just body and seat changes. If you look around a bit here you may be able to do it your self (the cdi) once you find it ;D.I'm not familiur with the 4t's,I,m sure someone here will help.Good luck.P.S.Welcome aboard

Hey jbcinzio, We'll get you rocking. What color are the wires to your cdi? The like is sold as a LIKE here also. The engine is the same as the people 50, I would think the cdi is the same also but the wire colors will help to see that. Welcome to the forum too!

I buy stuff from scooter assassins too, but like Boxalot says, the waiting time for delivery is soooooo long. I ordered a torque spring about 10 days ago and i still dont have it :(

Parts are good and the prices are cheap too, ive been happy so far, its just planning ahead so your not left without a scoot if its a bit you need to ride. Ebay has some good parts also from china etc if its an unrestricted cdi you need, i got one for my old peugeot speedfight for under £10!
