Yager GT 200i / Re: yeager valve adjust
« on: August 27, 2014, 07:54:27 PM »
I had the shop do my 600 mile check, I assumed they adjusted the valves. At 3000 miles I checked them and the exhaust was TIGHT. Checked them again at 9000 miles and the exhaust was tight again. Guess I need to check them more often.

Is anyone else having this problem? It looks like a clear coat is peeling off my headlight cover.

10,372, oil & filter changes, adjust valves. Runs like a dream. 65MPG, 65MPH. What more could you ask for?

Yager GT 200i / Re: Michelin Power Pure SC for the Yager
« on: April 16, 2014, 01:29:50 PM »
I had a set of the Power Pure SC's installed on my Yager last fall at the end of the season. 9000 miles of fairly hard riding had worn out the rear tire. I went ahead and replaced both. So far I love these tires. The ride is smooth and they corner like crazy.

Technical | How To / Re: Rear end oil for People 200S

If you fill the rear to the hole you will end up with the oil being pulled up into your air filter and into your engine. Sure messes up a good air filter fast. Been there, done that.

Look on ebay for a 799-19/28 belt and whatever size rollers you want.

Yager GT 200i / Re: Washer size for the Oil drain bolt?

I've changed my oil several times and have never needed to change the washer. I would expect the washer to last at least 25 - 30 changes.

Well now I'm running 3 16g + 3 19g sliders in my variator and it feels good. I put a 1/2" drill through the rear baffles in the muffler. I'm also trying to ride without going WOT every time I take off. I've gone from 65 MPG to 75MPG, I'm Happy.

Yager GT 200i / Leo Vince Exhaust
« on: June 18, 2012, 02:39:55 PM »
Crap >:( Seems I waited too long to get my performance exhaust. The Leo Vince 7464C is no longer available. I've been looking online and can't find one anywhere. LV says they are discontinued. Anyone know where to get a performance exhaust for the Yager?

Mine has been keeping excellent time. Maybe a minute off since DST change.

Well I installed the 19g sliders last night. I'll be damned if I can notice much of a difference. Top end is still 65 MPH @ 8000 RPM. Guess I need a bigger Scoot. I'm sure the Wifey won't mind.  ::)

Well you should at least be able to order them easier and cheaper if you know the size.
