 I was down for 24 was in the middle of posting yesterday, wasn't cought up then. Things are takeing off this month.

Hey art, an earlier post you mentioned changing the pipe and cdi, which cdi did you use? The one I got from ebay was $10, I see the same unit for sale for $18, $27, $30, and so on. looking at the pics they have the same model no. on them. Since I have worked out ho easy it is to connect them, I wouldn't buy a model specific one.

wait so you need to actually replace the cdi in the 2009 people? cutting it is not enough? i cut mine but maybe that is why i am not topping 42mph.

 I cut mine through to the the board no luck on the 2009  :'( Had to get the cobra cdi to get things right. got to have those green wires at the bottem. There may be some others  but i havn't tried any.

i cut mine at the bottom as well but did not see any wire i was supposed to cut through. is it possible to still get to 42 (50 down a steep hill) with a restricted CDI?
