It's hard to say for sure, but the rollers may be too light. The veriator and spring will help all around.

Over time they will wear unevenly and can stress out your veriator, but works fine for tuneing.

This may damage the spline on your output shaft of your crank beyond repair. You may want to chack it out asap.

It should not be loose. I have had this happen when re installing the spline and grooves were not lined up properly.  I had to take a small file to the output shaft to remove the burs before it would line up again.
This will happen when useing an impact wrench. I now thread by hand before putting any pressure to it.

Technical | How To / Re: People 50 - CDI restricted?
« on: October 18, 2010, 06:45:26 PM »
This is the green wire to un plug. If you don't have it You need to replace the cdi with a Kymco cobra cdi. There may be others but this is the one i know for sure works.

If the scoot is brand new they take a couple hundred miles to loosen up. I would also ask what size the main jet is. The sizes tend to vary from the factory. I think you could run an #80 to possibly #84 main jet. I did not think they put a cat in the 2007 but if they did it is very restrictive.
As far as they de-restriction go's Ask if they did the cdi and drive boss.

A k/n filter will make a difference. Your probly a little ritch at this point. This would be your next step for the 50+ http://www.sip-scootershop.com/EN/Products/M519988/Racing+variator+Multivar.aspx

Bet & Win 150 / Re: idle surging, running high
« on: October 17, 2010, 07:17:53 PM »
I don't have your model but surging is most likly a fuel delivery problem(not enouph fuel or too much air?) A carb clean may help. Try some seafoam and make sure the carb boot is tight.
As for an air leak try to follow the hoses back from the fuel intake side of the carb. Just got to inspect close one at a time. Another thought is pull and check your spark plug. Here's a scale to give you an idia whats going on in the mix.    http://www.dansmc.com/spark_plugs/spark_plugs_catalog.html  .

You will need to go to 7.5g roller. The new cdi and open air filter for best results. The #95 main was suggested for open airbox an #85 if not open should work.
Your air gas screw is just for idle mix turn out about 1 1/2 turns then set idle screw. Give that a try  ;) Good luck

It can,you have to read your spark plug!  Take a look at this. http://www.dansmc.com/spark_plugs/spark_plugs_catalog.html

Ha! thats funny. I'm pretty sure they do something.  Maybe the ones that don't trigger were put in upside down and you approach them backwords  ;D
