Yager GT 200i / Oil light lit up...what now??
« on: July 10, 2018, 09:28:23 PM »
Hi guys I have a 2012 Yeager 200i with 2500 miles while riding today the light went off so naturally I drove to my destination turned off the bike and checked the oil. The oil level seemed full (from checking it on the center stand and NOT SCREWING  in the dip stick) soooo...not sure what's next?

...could it be an oil sensor, an oil pump, don't know please help! Either way not a lot of miles to start having problems!

Thanks in advance!

Yager GT 200i / MOTOR OIL...IS MOBIL #1 10W 40 OK???
« on: June 06, 2015, 04:35:32 AM »
Hi guys,

Getting ready to do my 1st oil change on my Yager 200i and I was hoping you could tell me if I can use Mobil #1 10-40 4T sport bike oil (well if it is good oil for the motor).  I have a few quarts left over from servicing my other bikes. The manual suggests 10w-30 kymco oil...not sure where you'd buy that?

Anyways here's what I have:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mobil-1-10W-40-Full-Synthetic-Motorcycle-Oil-1-qt./16767829

My scoot has 2000 miles on it...it takes 800 ml, right?

Thanks in advance!

Yager GT 200i / Yegar 200i Coolant change...HELP!
« on: March 28, 2015, 03:46:12 AM »
Hi guys I just hit 2K and 2 years old so I wanted to perform a coolant change.

SINCE I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS I am guessing at these steps so please HELP!...vids are great too! =)

Steps:
1. Drain coolant by unbolting the waterpump and take off radiator cap to help drain
2. Pull bleeder hose off
3. Bolt pump back on
4. Fill radiator up slowly (shake scooter & add), then put the cap back on (scoot is NOT RUNNING)
5. Fill up reservoir
6. start motor
7. wait until bleeder hose stops bubbling and gives a consistent flow and reconnect hose
8. Keep adding coolant to reservoir
9. Run to temp, shut down and recheck

If you have done this before please let me know I have never seen this performed with a "bleeder hose" (this is a guess) and not a screw in type
Also, if you know what needs to be disassembled and how to do that please mention it.

Thanks in advance!
