Post by: Jade422 on December 01, 2015, 02:51:43 AM

I have been using these RAM Mounts on almost every scooter and motorcycle I have had and they just seem to work even though I had to modify these to make them work on the Like 200i but I got it to work and I hooked up my GPS and my phone I put two of them on instead of one so I can hang my canvas bag on it as well to get stuff home it just works for me got It from Amazon

I used that same mount ball on one of our Kymcos and it worked well. The GPS did not work well in the sunlight so got an eTrex. Your mount is nearly bullet-proof!

eTrex works great in direct sunlight! Get a map card from a guy in Spokane, WA for about 17-18 bucks. MUCH cheaper than Garmin's detail map. Cheaper than worthless updates!

GPS!? Where's your sense of adventure?

Just kidding. I like the idea of mounting a GPS to the scooter. Sure seems like a better way to travel than pulling over on occassion and checking the phone. Are you guys running a seperate power feed to your unit?

I am using internal batteries since they last about 4 days of continuous operation.
