64 degrees and sunny...
« on: February 08, 2018, 09:46:41 PM »
...all the excuse I needed to ride the Spade on today's otherwise boring errands.
Only one driver seemed particularly put off by my going only 58 in a 55MPH zone. I only hope passing me on the shoulder got him to his important appointment in a timely manner.  :P

I'm in South Alabama... looking at the forecast, probably the best chance for a ride I'll see this week.  :-\

Nice pix, thanks!
He passed you on the right?! "shoulder" ??
Man, that is so ......bad word.
Had a lady pass me in the rain like that. And yeah, I  was only doing 33 in the 25 zone.
Hang in there....

Thanks! As a recent Apple convert, I have yet to figure out how to resize pics. Working on it...
Yep, passed on the right shoulder. Glad I didn't pick that moment to pull over and let him by.  :o
Didn't let it spoil an otherwise enjoyable ride.  ;D

That's a great riding attitude....and is a reason why I keep working on every new scooter's mirrors --- until I get mirrors that give me good vision back there.
My son spoke the other day of how often he checks his mirrors on his CB500X  and R6. Is thinking of going to bar-end mirrors on the R6 because of the vibration in its fairing mounted mirrors.

Now that you mention it, the mirrors are an issue... having a hard time getting them in a position where I'm seeing much more than my elbows.
I may have to look into some bar-ends, too.

Yes, Lou, nice pictures! Don't feel like the lone ranger 'cause Stig has tried to train me for pictures to no avail! I still ain't got it! Southern Alabama is called LA - LOWER Alabama! That has been told to me years ago. Other names, too!

I'll try to remember that!  ;D I'm originally from the LA two states to the left.
