MXU 450i WONT START
« on: March 08, 2018, 01:16:10 AM »
Hello, I have a 2017 kymco MXU 450i le. So here is what’s going on. I was plowing snow with it, when I started backing up, put the breaks on, left off the throttle, and it stalled. This has happened a few times before, but it would start right back up. This time however, push the start button, and nothing, not a sound. Everything is in the on position, brake lever held in, nothing. No sound that it’s even wanting to start. I have also noticed that the orange transmission icon does not go out after the few seconds it usually did!!!! Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Is the brake light coming on? How's the battery voltage? Does anything happen if you jump the starter solenoid with a screwdriver?

Upon further thought, it probably doesn't have a brake light. I'm supposing that there's a brake switch that needs to be triggered though that could be stuck.
