Stock Carb and Auto Choke is a POS.
« on: January 29, 2018, 10:21:27 AM »
So after a lot of researching. I've come to find out I can only adjust my idle on my stock carb for a 2011 People 50. Damn thing needs a tweak, but the best I can do is futz with the idle right now.

Can anyone recommend a replacement carb, this not starting crap for 5 minutes and having to kick start it for added effect is getting dull. Thanks in advance.

if it's a 2 stoke this page, some of these are gonna be straight plug and play, some are going to need a manual choke, if everything else is still stock no need to go for a bigger carb so you can just grab one that will work with the electric choke. This site also has parts for a four stoke if you look around.

I'm basically in the same boat. I'm tired of having to constantly work to get it to start cold and hot. I can get it to do one but not both. The auto choke just stinks.  Any of those carbs on the link that you'd recommend over the others?

I'm not that knowledgeable. I've heard good things about all these companies. I know I love polini variators. And for my second People that I just picked up over the weekend, I'm planning to try one of these naraku carbs. Another thing if it's a clamp on carb, you'll need an adapter, bolt on should well bolt on.
