« on: October 09, 2018, 09:42:34 PM »
Hello.
Can anybody help me find a gear up kit for my scooter?
Im having a hard time finding one.
Tho there plenty to choose from, when looking under the agility, none seems to fit mine.

Right now Im topping out at 40 mph.

de-restricted
Setup
72cc cylinder
vince exhaust
polini variator
Of cause I have played around with a 1000 different weights and torque springs.

Curious here - what was your speed before all the mods (and agro)?

About the same...
The speed hasn't really changed much.¨
I have just tried upgrading the carburetor to a 20mm, but the speed still stays the same.

Its not the first 139qmb engine I've messed with, but for some reason this scooter just wont turn like the others.

What kind of speeds are you guys seeing with this scooter?
Are the gears just weird, to compensate for the large tires?

I guess folks often buy these 4 stroke 50's with the full intention of modding them for more speed?.....rather than buying a 125?
You've experience with them - but it seems to me that 2 stroke 50's are more successfully modified for more speed than are 4 strokes?

Your larger wheels and gearing may have something to do with your problem...
Seems engine torque might be more important than final HP with your set-up?
Good luck.
