So. tool kit stuck.....
« on: September 27, 2017, 06:33:27 PM »
I have 2 complaints about my new 2018 Piaggio:
#1) turn signal switch is awkward to use...funny shape.

and
b) Salesman snapped tool kit under seat pan with a zip tie-like strap that Piaggio placed up there..
I was an hour trying to get it to release. Still no idea how I accomplished this, and no idea how that strap operates - just know I  ain't going to put my emergency rations (Moon Pies) in that deadman's
strap!

I have taken the side plastics off and removed the under seat tub,  on my piaggio 350 sport,  I just relax and take it easy and eat bran muffins, give it time and everything will pass

If the turn signal switch is anything like my Aprilia it looks like they favored design over functionality. I have to lift my hand partially off the grip to push the turn or horn buttons.

Dang they don't tell you how to get in the tool kit.
