As the title say, I'm very interested to hear from anyone who has actually fitted a big bore kit to an Agility 125.
I'm interested to know if the crankcases had to be machined out to accept the larger diameter barrel.
I've been told by a supplier in the UK that the standard kymco crankcase opening is 57mm only.

I'm not a mechanic, neither I have done this,but in a big bore kit you should get everything you need.
Bigger piston that connects to the original piston rod, piston rings, cylinder and gaskets. Don't see a reason to machine out anything.

I have agility, 125 R16. I've put the cylinder 160 on a no-load basis. The main dive # 110 and variomat sport top performance with weights of 13.5 grams.

Ok Guys, I'm answering my own question.

Curiosity got the better of me, so I removed the engine and cylinder to measure the crankcase opening. It measured 60.7 mm. This allowed me to fit the 150cc cylinder kit I wanted. I purchased an Airsal kit from Pedparts in the UK. Great to deal with and fast delivery. The kits are cast and machined at the Airsal factory near Barcelona in Spain and are very good quality.













I've refitted the engine and it runs fine so Just got to refit the panels and seat and then its time to start running her in. It say the running in period is 45 - 55 minutes at half throttle the your good to go!  :)

Yes, main jet changed from 104 to 110 to start with. We'll see how we go. I may even get her on the dyno as a friend runs an MX shop.

The 160-cc kit has a diameter of 60.4mm so that it enters the crankshaft without any problems. I am overwhelmed. My final speed is 100 km / h. Accelerations are great, and consumption is about 4.2lit to 100km.

As the title of this post says, I had a lack of information and no one seemed to be able to give me answers. A lot of the suppliers don't list cylinder skirt sizes and I didn't want to risk buying something that was to large to fit in my crankcase.
Secondly, I didn't want to have to upgrade the standard Carb & airbox. I wasn't sure what I could get away with.
I'm sure i'll be happy with the 150cc and it was a good little project to do.

It is definitely a little more spritely when pulling off, just wants to go! I don't use the scooter regularly so its going to take some time to run her in. She easily sits at 50 mph (on my Garmin GPS) at 3/4 throttle.
As for fuel consumption, I never measured it before so I cant comment but the scooter is only a toy anyway.  ;)

Dang i hope peeps150 is correct and he actually did install a Bolt-on direct bolt on 61mm Cylinder kit which should be 170cc or 171cc, but i was told that my 2006 kymko people 150 is NOT same as GY6, so the NCY 61mm direct bolt on big-bore kit will Not work??-is this true, or can i get a blt on big bore kit for my 2006 kymko people 150 scooter???
another bummer is even if I can get my hands on the 61 mm direct bolt-on big-bore kits...rear end final drive Gears i am told are also diferent-wont fit???

New member here.  I just traded my ps3 for a blown 2009 people 150.  I just put a 61mm big bore kit in it and she's finally running once again.  I also out a installed an aftermarket intake and muffler system.  For those who have aftermarket parts on their people 150, what size jets are you guys using? I have already tinkered with the carburetor as much as I can, I think she is still running lean on the 110 stock jet.

Very interesting thread.
Fuel consumption seem to take quite a knock on an upgrade like this ?
 Fuel consumption on my Agility 125 (with more than 11 000 km on the clock and 13” wheels) is between 35 to 37 km / Liter.

Maybe it will be better to install a 14” wheel at the rear on an upgrade like this ?
