Visit to dealership today
« on: July 29, 2017, 12:25:31 AM »
Went and saw things first hand today, I was very impressed but there is no way the 450 works for me. The guys there are great we talked a lot about how they set up for Moab rides and my type of riding is similar. They move the shocks out and remove the rear sway-bar but still not enough,,,

I'm not knocking the 450i it would be my preference but that one thing.

So we spent some time in the 700i really liked it, they have a 2016 LE with a scratch on the hood for a great price I,m having it priced out with a extended roll cage and back seat and custom roof, tip out windshield.

Really hope things work out

From the advertised specs I don't see where the 700 has any more ground clearance??

I just gave my 450 about 3 more inches by moving the shocks out front and back.

Been giving that some serious thought, but not ready to remove the sway bar just yet!  I haven't had any issues with ground clearance yet so I guess I am in no hurry...just waiting

Airshot I'm not sure if I am missing something in your statement but the 450 has 10" the 700 has 12.2 and the 700 LE has 13.2 because of the up grade tire size these are all starting points. 3 1/4" different is alot

This video from kymco at Moab is kinda fun but you can see how many times they slam the bottom on the rocks

This video is the race between the 500 and 700 but I was laughing because it's the guys I am buying from driving each machine

When I researched my machine it was early 2015 and the advertising pamphlet I have says 10" ground clearance for both the 450 and the 700 and yes the LE models added an extra 2" due to larger tire/wheel combo. Must have updated the ground clearance since then.

OK I'm still learning and wondered if I was missing something, I did notice the manufactures web specs are listed incorrectly on the LE
