recalibrating throtle old new news

 Shorted a wire under the dash, fried a fuse , no lights no dash lights ,speedometer, RPM , all dead,    speedometer at 50 MPH,
rpm at 8000 ,  how to reset this ???unhook the battery?  take it in to the dealer $$$,.  NO ! just re set the throttle like crossbolt says,   did it 5 times to get it normal again,  key on with throttle WOT,  count to 8 let go and check , and do it again if not back to O,.   THANK YOU CROSSBOLT   MR. Wow! Thanks, De dee! Did not know INITIALIZE would fix that! Gotta write that down for the next time sombody's panel goes nuts!

Why did you do it 5 times??
  I DID IT 5 TIMES BECAUSE IT WENT DOWN A COUPLE  C.  OF RPM AT A TIME,.
