Flashing Front Lights?
« on: May 23, 2017, 04:23:54 PM »
Hey Hey, I saw  a big bike the other day and as he sat at the intersection across from me I was so pleased with his FLASHING LIGHTS!! I think this gives good visibility!  I wonder about my own bike where at the top of the lights it appears you could have a light in there but nothing is in there.  I wonder about hooking up flashing lights in there???

Aahh, the dummy lights... it is a shame, that the North American models don't utilize those lights. I'm pretty sure that I've seen some members, who actually hooked them up to be functional.

Yes the dummy lights.  Really stupid thing.  I want to put some kind of light in that.

The 2017 kpipe has a "passing" button/switch that when pressed down turns on the Hi-beam on the left handle a little above the clutch

Back in the day, that was very handy if you were being chased by the fuzz at night. Turn the lights off, hold down the PASS button and you have headlights but with no taillight illuminating your number plate.

So I'm told <ahem>

Sounds likely. However unfortunately we don't have light switches anymore :(
