Rear brake switch

Hi, does anyone know if I need to drain the fluid to replace a faulty rear brake switch, the one attached to the (I presume) master cylinder on an MXU 450i 2015, or can I just unscrew it and swap it out.

 the switch you are talking about is it the brake light one,  it should be in your brake leaver look it up in a parts manual,  leaver to cable switch in between,.

  I looked up the part and could not find it either ,you have no brakes ???? do you have foot brake or hand brakes,.

  I DOWN LOADED your service manual, it is very good , section 5  page 3 ,. it is a preasure  switch  so you will need to do a brake fluid change,  as it will get air in there,.

if you are under warranty I would let the dealer fix it ,

Ive got the new switch. the bike has the left handlebar brake lever and foot brake connected so whichever I use puts on front AND rear brakes, the right handlebar lever is front only, I just need to know if I need to drain the brake system to swap out the hydraulic switch on top of the master cylinder or if I can just unscrew it and put the new one in, thanks.
