I have never made this repair...

If you disconnect the rear shock or compress it, will the top of the engine lower to allow that cover to be removed?

Is it required that the motor mounts be disconnected to remove that cover?

Hope you get a proper answer quickly !

As the previous reply indicated, if you disconnect the rear shocks and move the rear wheel all the way up (or down, maybe, I don't exactly remember), there is room to remove the valve cover. I had to remove head bolts when I replaced my cams. You need to move the rear wheel up and down as required to withdraw the long head bolts. Put some wood spacers under the rear tire to keep it in place.

Thank you for helping, I tried this method, it worked fine, I needed two people for it, I dismantled the shocks and put it on the wheels and my friend added weight to the back and the engine went down, I turned the valve around 180 degrees because the opening of the breathing Interrupted, then it slide down alone with some shakes and the rear thanks alot.
sorry for my bad english
