rear fender (actual, license plate area) removal
« on: March 26, 2017, 05:57:39 PM »
Thinking of painting the rear fender , not the wheel hugger.    Looking at how its attached.   Searched , looking for parts breakout and in the maintenance manual but cannot find a good  picture on how its attached.   Hope its simple from just the underside .

Any help would be appreciated.

I will reply to myself     ;D

Service manual page 2-3.  It only shows the two rear nuts right below the license plate lite.

There are two hidden push pins.  Located furthermost forward on the fender, look up , or poor eyesight
like me ... lol .... feel for them.

Then disconnect the license plate lite.

Wiggle the fender from side to side and pull backwards.

viola
