MyRoad 700 - new bike - need advise
« on: June 02, 2016, 11:32:45 PM »
Purchased this bike to go along with my Kymco People 300.  Passenger peg release sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.   Seat is "OK" but might need some work done on it.  My biggest concern is that the factory windshield throws the air right into my face. Does anyone know of a after market windshield that can help?  I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions regarding topics mentioned but especially the windshield issue.

Welcome, another MyRoad owner, yay. I've found one place that lists one for the MyRoad (link below). There may be others who will custom build one like Clearview Shields or Cee Bailey’s.

I haven't had any issues with my passenger pegs releasing, no passenger for me but I do occasionally play with releasing them. I'm not sure if there is an adjustment or not, the service manual is lacking information. I'd hope there is since the cable must split to go to each one.

Did you have to drill holes to install your new screen?  :-*

I still have the stock one but a guy south of me bought one and yes he said he had to drill the mounting holes which he said wasn't too difficult.

I've been thinking of adding one of these adjustable Puig visor kits to mine. Haven't decided between the less expensive bolt on one or the clamp on one.
