Hi guys me again on my 125 my regulator smokes and smells like hot metal burning any ideas what has caused this?

I had this same thing happen to me last week.

It happened a week after my headlight burned out, not sure if there is a correlation. I just bought a new regulator and headlight and installed it, we will see if it works!

They changed mine under warranty along with all of the bulbs well apart from the clocks one which i did myself but the guy at the shop said its just one of those things
