I did see an improvement on the economy, an extra 20km per tank.
But, I put the original Plug back in a this brisk Plug, is causing a stuttering, backfiring, from cold start.
I got as far as the stop sign, 100m,it cut out and refused to start.
I pushed it back home and took out that Plug, and saw it was totally black, while the original Plug was the correct light brown.
Pity

With the new exhaust cam fitted, and new stator as well, and scoot starting well, it is time to refit the brisk Plug.
Report to follow.

I fitted the brisk Plug again,  and noted that the spluttering on  cold starts was back.
It  took  awhile to realize a new start procedure is needed.
1 turn of the key, nothing else.
When I stop outside to lock the gate, leave the engine running, then there is no sputtering and it does not cut out at the stop Street down the road.
Performance boost is back,  but I have yet to see a significant economic improvement.

The verdict is finally in on this brisk Plug.

I was just about to give a positive write up, as I am seeing an improvement in fuel consumption and scoot is starting every morning, with no trickle charging but not this morning; weather is much colder, plus it  rained last night too.

So, it just cranked. I tried about 8 times.
I changed back to the regular Plug, and it started right up.

I am not putting in the brisk Plug again, as while I do want performance and economy, I want reliability more.

Stay with stock. All you need is this plug leaving you in the middle of know where. Or damaging the engine.  :-*

Correction : The Plug is : AR12ZS

Here is the link to the respective plug, where you can see the gapless design.

This might have been discussed. ...but have you tried an NGK or Denso Iridium plug?
Require changing only 30, 000 > 50, 000 miles in a scooter.
Same heat range as stock works just fine (per email to NGK) - good starting behavior and noticeably smoother/steadier idle at stop lights (very reassuring in heavy traffic;-))
No improvement in mpg probably. ...not a "magic" plug....just an improvement.
Have put them in 3 scooters and two Scion  xB's.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Spark Plug by choice.

I only report this one works for me.

BRISK or NGK Iridium .. you decide.

I did try a brisk but different model AOR12LGS, brisk recommend it, and that caused major cold start issues, and spluttering while cold. Thus the iridium.

I will try the brisk pIug you used Cider boy, but for the moment I am having no issues with the iridium, so the urgency is not there.
