air filter assembly Function

That function has lines that enter the air filter ? it may cause to remove the air filter?; I was broken  the base where the air filter goes. Thanks

Your going to have to re-design your sentence to make sense.

To answer the question... The pleated/accordion line or inlet tube has broken off the air box. It is NOT needed for the bike to run properly. It mainly keeps water out of the box when riding in the rain by being concealed inside the body panels.
