I have heard from a few Kymco dealers that the Xciting 400i and the Xtown 300i will, in fact, be coming to the U.S.

Just got notice that Kymco is offering discounts to students, teachers, and Faculty. These CAN be combined with other offers 9such as Military). Looked at Military discount ( Hubby is a Veteran) and saw that this, now, pertains to me as well. It includes ALL First Responders ( active, retired, etc.) to include Firefighters, Police Officers and Emergency Medical Service providers ( ME !!! )....
I'm SO glad that a Company has recognized that we, too, put our lives on the line every time we put on our uniform ( and even on days we do not) to protect our Country!!!

Downtown 300 / Wider tires?

Is it possible to put wider tires on the DT ? It seems the original size is narrow enough that (New England) road seams grab right onto the tire. Good way to lose control.

Downtown 300 / New belt needed ? Z-man? B&L ?

Anyone else have to replace a belt at 5,000 miles ? Dealer tells me that it was out of adjustment and 'chattering/squeal' I heard was bike taking off in 2nd gear, rather than first ?Should this have been caught at last years 'servicing? Noticed squeal/chatter not long after that .
Going to cost me 650-700 dollars for 36 month servicing ( according to Service Manual) Excepting $188.00 for belt , an air filter,& oil filter it is mostly labor ( I'm guessing removal of panels,etc.) .
Still seems a bit much.
