Hello all,

Looking for a good supplier for a windshield, Buddy seat and mounting hardware and some more storage (perhaps saddle bags) for a people 50 2T.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Technical | How To / People 50 Hard starting
« on: July 19, 2017, 06:21:53 PM »
Hello all,

I have a KYMCO People 50 2 stroke that is difficult to start after it sits for a day.
When I hit the starter button It fires then dies.
I give 3 pumps on the throttle and the same thing happens. It takes many times for it to sit and run.
I choke off the air inlet and sometimes it helps other times it doesn't.
It gas a new plug.
It runs great when running and starts with no problem after it has been running. Even later that day.

Thanks,
Denny

Hello all,
Just wanted to say and introduce myself.
Have been riding 2 wheelers since I was 14 (I'm now 56).
Everything from big twins, dirt bikes, Smaller bikes and scooters.
My last scooter was a Chinese 50 and was looking to upgrade.
Well, I was in a wreck with it and it forced the upgrade sooner than later.

Decent 50s are hard to find around here but I happened on a clean 08 People 50 2-stroke.
It Has been modified with (according to the previous owner) After market exaust, High performance valves (I have no idea what type) and has been re-jetted.
The work was done to the bike prior to the previous owner.

It gets to 30mph very quickly and continues to pull past 50mph. It may go faster but I was speeding at this point and really didn't want to over rev it.
I really like the way it handles with the 16" wheels. It's a slight bit motorcycle like.

Everyone on the forum seems really cool and respectful, and there is a wealth of knowledge here I'm sure will come in handy!

Anyway, Thanks for having me.
Denny
