See where the seat is? It's about 4" in front of the rear axle. You can hardly go up hill with out the front coming up. Anyone that rides it for the first time lifts the wheel/dumps the throttle/tries again. It's a F'n BLAST. It's the one I put the 60 buck 50mm kit in. Also the 19mm delorto. (it's not on it now (19mm) cause I'm using it to tune another engine). But with a slide, and 5g rollers it needs a shopping cart wheelie bar... Serious!

I TRY to limit scoot work to 3-4hrs a week. I need to make money to pay for it all. Just the paint on the frame is about 75 bucks. (Awl Grip oyster white) With Awl Grip epoxy primer. It's stronger than the OEM finish for sure. You can scratch it with a hammer but no other tools make a dent.

On the z, the runners were hooked into the other lights, So the runners and the "side marker" lights come on with the other lights...Red bulbs in the runner sockets
I did black out the tail lens and turn lenses.(h.l. cover only 1 coat so i can still see from it...lol)

I di my lenses on the outside with the "VHT" spray tint..
They say only up to 3 coats..
I believe em too, i went 5 on the back of the z and that sh** is blacked out. :o 8)..lol

I've been trying to find Euro clear lenses, but doubt they exist. That Is the next best thing. You say spray tint? Like the spray on window tint?

Yeah, it's called "VHT" "night shades"..Like $10 can at local auto store. Think walmart sells it as well..

You can do either...technically
IMO, since the outside is smoother, that was the choice.. I tried a sample on a inside lens, It seemed to drain into the creases and look like some checkered sh*t.

me too. the first thing that had to go though were all the darn stickers. i cannot stand stickers or a crap load of emblems.
then i took the balky extra rear fender off
cut off the reflectors on the rear turn signals too to clean it up a bit
and took off the small pointless front "windshield" . mainly cause the wife put it in a ditch on our first outing and cracked it. looks better without though i think

Just never ride one.
My (half)sister owned one for a year, and while it's great to look at,
it's quality is waaay below even entry level Kymco scoots. It was rattling
all over, forks were leaking oil, and the suspension in general is way too soft.
Makes for a comfortable ride, but the power is overwhelming for that kind of
suspension so it's a rather dangerous ride if you like to push it.
It's great for easy cruising though.
Considering it costs more then XC500Ri (here at least), it's a no-go in my
book, and no ABS either.

Oh those! Those are made by a local shop here in the Philippines, Jad Decals. There's also Jad Racing whose into engine mods and pipes. http://jad-decals.webs.com/ (http://jad-decals.webs.com/) There are a lot of decal shops here. You go in, tell them what you want, they will search in their computer database, size it, cut or print, then stick on your bike.

Thanks, yeah Piaggio Fly it has 12" wheels. It's only a 49cc 4 stroke 4 valve, not the speediest thing on the road for sure, but it gets me to work and back. It also started me down the road of "I love this and need a bigger engine..."

There are lots of Super 8 clubs here. Actually a lot of motorcycle and scooter clubs. There are almost 4 million motorcycles and scooters in this country and most of them have clubs. What is your question?

@sentinex. Sorry for the late reply. Got drunk over the weekend! The thing on the back is a home-made slider. These are made from engineering plastic http://northamericanplasticsales.com/s/cc_images/cache_2244934904.jpg?t=1309291840 (http://northamericanplasticsales.com/s/cc_images/cache_2244934904.jpg?t=1309291840) cut to size, drilled, fitted to a long bolt to replace one of the bolts of the step. The other one is just a modified step nut.
@ Peters, That is not a real k&n. Pipe shops here handmade those from the same stuff they use in making exhaust pipes. Wrapped with carbon fiber look stickers or painted flat black, plus a K&N decal makes it look cool.
Very easy to make these. All you need is a little imagination and places to source the materials.

I have a black 2011 s8 but a 125cc. The engine is quite responsive and tops 60. Can do more if the road is very flat. rear shocks are stiff. Good for me because the wifey back rides most of the time. Seats are not comfortable, that's why a lot of owners here had them customized or modified just like in the picture. Tires are both 14", very good at pot holes. One comment is the lack of front compartment for cellphone and stuff. Overall, I luv this scoot! A head turner everytime.

There is almost NOTHING in the US as bad as that stretch job. That is spot on MY style. I may take on a few winter projects here to improve my rides. That F'er made me feel "silly" with what I ride.

These are not common items in shops. If you're lucky, maybe you can see a set in a few. These are custom fit for the s8 and Kymco doesnt sell the Agility here. There's Yager (Dink), Grand Vista (Grand Dink), Super 8, Like 125, Free LX 115. However, If you know somebody there making fiberglass body kits for cars, I think they can design one for you.. Maybe start a business as well selling those.

I got a couple of Subaru Impreza Bonnet (hood) vents i got plans for and a couple of ideas for a headlight swap so i may well try make some of those extensions up at the end of summer if i get time. I always thought the A50 looks a little skinny from the front, could do with fattening out a bit.

You will need to open/register with an online photo sharing spot.. Alot of ppl use photobucket or even imaga shack.. Upload your pics there, THEN upload here...

All prep done, just needs keyed down with 1200 wet and dry then its ready to spray.Hope to have it sanded this weekend then i just need my guy to get a slot in his booth.

didnt you ask me the same thing? its just stupid british law, it has to be so wide by so long and the letters and numbers have to be a certain size aswell. if the plod catch you with anything less then they can butt rape you (unless like Streido you go for an old school plate)

yea should do the trick man. i think if they pay too much attention to what the bike looks like or if there vespa/lambretta anal anoracks then you might have abit of trouble.

That is a beautiful project. I had a 1969 that was identical. The best part is all STEEL. I bent my fork into the cowl, and could not get it back for the life of me. That's one for the grandkids...
What I don't get is the plate deal. If your choices are But rape or a Maybe warning?... I just don't see the choice there. Paint a plate with crayon.

There is a legal size req for our plates, regulations about the colour of it, and the size and font of the numbers must be the one they say. ::)
Really its all about speed cameras imo, they dont you flying past with plates it wont pick up so the enforce these laws.
The black plates look ok so im not fussed using them for as long as i get away with it.

im going for the Naraku 80cc race kit. i have a naraku cdi and naraku variator. might as well get all same made parts, might work better as all the parts are made for eachother. i have a mate called al he has a Ag with a 80cc kit on and he hits 55 60ish.

I have had an issue with my Ebay 50mm GY6 kit. I found a leaking exhaust valve, and put on the OEM head to find the Cylinder was also warped between the chain tunnel, and the Cyl liner. I called the supplier, and he says he has sold 14,000 THIS YEAR, and mine is the Only failure... Yeah Right. He of course said there is no warranty, and after telling him I have posted for his site on several forums, and have access to all the best parts so I don't really need his "crap" anyway... He offered to replace the whole kit for 25.00 shipped. Now we know what these kits cost.... The main issue is there are no valve seats. Just machined cast aluminum. :P I am getting another from him just to have a cheap kit for a spare but not as a primary installed kit.

Naraku 80cc race kit. i have a naraku cdi and naraku variator
I went off Naraku after buying one of their belts and some rollers. Belt lasted maybe 1-2 weeks then i lost power so opened up my cvt cover to see the belt was fraying already :(
Since i was in there anyway i checked out the Nataku rollers i had put in at the same time and at least half of them had flat spots on them, not good.
Thats kinda put me off the brand, i figured if they cant even make decent belts and rollers then how can i trust them with the big, proper stuff? ???
Zombie, surely the kit you got was covered for a refund or free replacement since it was a faulty part you were sent? Why should you need to pay out more for another one to be sent? It wasnt your fault, the seller has a duty to provide you with what you ordered or refund you? Least thats how it works in this country, maybe your laws or consumer rights are different?

A good belt is not easy to make.. and Kymco is known for excellent quality
belts (and rollers).
They'll outlast even hi-end malossi kevlar stuff.
No need to ever look for a different brand.
As for rollers.. I'm never using anything but Dr Pulley sliders again.
They're that good.

Hey Cortez... The OEM Kymco belt is made by Bando. They are a very good belt. The Malossi will not last. They are not meant to. They are a real racing part, and only meant to get you to the finish first. Using them on the street is quite expensive.
I like the "People in the hood theme" WK. Lets see if it's there in the morning...
I'd still like to see one set up top shelf just to see what they can really do with 16" tires. I would imagine 80ish is do-able.

Same here in Florida. The ants rule here. Fire ants are EVERYWHERE! I really love living in coastal areas. I've lived in every state on the eastern seaboard, and Now I'm on the Gulf of Mexico. I figure 7 more years of work, and then it's on to my real calling. Stoned out Scooter Bum! It's just way too expensive to live like that in the US unless you want to be one of those guys with two different shoes, and a Parka in the summer.
It's not so much that I liked the skull... That ugly ass dead animal head is what made the scoot so artistic. Here they draw soup cans, and splash paint on a car door to make millions. I don't get it. The fella that made that scoot most likely just wanted to say... f*** off! I like his style.

Now to answer Streido's question... As you can see, the Philippines is made up of lots of islands and provinces. Each province has it's dialect dominated by either chinese language, spanish, american, malay, etc. In the provinces, the true dialect is spoken, but in the big cities, like where I am, we speak Tag-lish (Tagalog mixed with some english) There are english words that dont have filipino meanings (technical terms mostly) so we just mix 'em up. There are also jibberish language here, gay language, sub-culture language, carabao english, jejemon, etc. :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Our club was affiliated with Guro Dan Inosanto's JKD club in the states, he graded our teachers and made sure they kept things as Bruce wouldve wanted. I atrended a couple of weekend seminars with him 4-6 yrs ago, great guy. Looks like a cute little old man but if you make a move on him you'd be on the floor in a micro second thinkin wtf just happened there? That little 70 yr old is a mean machine :o
Anyway be told us all a bit of the filipino history etc and explained about the Spanish etc, good guy, i loved him from tbe moment he areived and shown us his "sports" bag full of swords, daggers, knives and sticks :D
I studied some filipino Kali and Pencak Silat in my time :)

Yes, Danny Inosanto. He started as a movie actor here and good with sticks. He taught Bruce Lee the sticks (Arnis) that made him famous in Enter The Dragon. I actually sent some sticks to my brother in Houston where he is a martial arts instructor at Dark Gift Combat. These are very light vine-like sticks thats very effective as a weapon.

I know most of the clan here isn't into the Yamaha Morphous, but I bought one for my wife as she is vertically challenged and this bike is the only one she can sort of flat foot it. Anyway, there is a ton of crap made for that bike all coming out of Japan. The sh** they do to those bikes there is unbelievable. So much so, my wife had to have a rear spoiler for it! (Cost me a little over $400 less paint)

upload them, you just need to post the direct link to the image using the 'Insert Image' button, 2nd from the left, under the 'italic' button.

.jpg) then you close the img tag with (/img) and voila, picture shows up.

Your choice of scenery and angles are fine. I wanna see more.. I use an android Samsung Galaxy S and the pics are not that detailed. ;D

you know how pictures are, depends whether is it sunny, clouds, which direction the sun is, where it is in the sky, etc etc. I usually carry another camera with me, but just has the phone with me, I can get creative on the shots, but all depends on things listed above, notice the pic of Dark Canyon above, overcast, sun was in a bad position, had the scoot too far from the road to see the twisties, etc. oh well

Mine is 8.0 megapixels but takes nice pics, check the settings, maybe its not set up right, mine is set for best quality and largest size photos.

this is a scoot i used to have. it was my first. 125cc with a restricted top speed of 70mph. used to lean it so low i could scrape the center stand on the road.
Great scoot, one thing tho, the 70mph sounds about right for it's top speed, there was
no restriction on it if it went 70 (and why would it be restricted anyways?).
It's a 12hp engine.
I've ridden the Elyseo 150 which was 13,3hp and it could barely go over 70 indicated,
just a couple of times I've seen it indicate 73-74.

yea either way it was a great scoot and i used to love blitzing it everywhere. remember getting a quicker launch off the line than a bigger bike, he gave me props for speedy getaway......cant talk too much about it though, Ag will get jealous lmao

when i had the bike i wasnt quite prepared for the weight of it. it was quite a big scoot i tried taking it off the center stand it bounced then dropped in the direction of my mums car taking me with it lmao. left a nice little dent on the bonnet.

The main reason why it have taken 2-3 months for me to install this kit was not that it took long time, but mainly that i was afraid to take the big step (and that i use my time for parties), as this is my everyday vehicle. It took 2 hours of modifying the gas cable and when i add it all up, around 6-8 hours to modify the fuel system, but mainly because i wasn't sure how to do it. Then 24 hours for some silicone to harden when i added tubes to the fuel tank. Then 1-2 hours of assembly, and then its good to go. :D
So if you know how to do it, have all the parts and know where to place the parts so you have room for your seat, then i guess it could be done in a couple of days from start to finish. ;)

How my engine room looks: electric wires to te left and fuel hoses to the right in the back as long away from the cylinder and the exhaust as possible (just in case one pops off and 5 liter of fuel comes out). ;D

I posted all their contact info as well as the dealer price guides. The complete kit for 1 is 250.00 shipped. The kit alone is 125.00. Shipping is so high because of the new "metals" import tax... 40% in the US now. The package is marked "Fragile: scooter parts" So it is taxed on entry. I forget where the price list is... They have lots of other stuff avail. in bbk's. I think it's on the General thread
I have the Gold pipe, and am changing to gold grips as well. They'll get the idea. Can;t get much more Irish than that.

Use the OAT Red or Orange Coolant, it has a higher boiling point and has a longer life. More efficient. Main ingredient is Diethylene Glycol. More popular in tropical countries. The Green coolant (Ethylene Glycol) has a very low freezing point. You don't need that because you don't have winter in your place, right?
Don't use water, Water boils at 100 degrees celsius, turns to steam, not efficient...

The WC kit is a 107cc set. It is supposed to work on a stock crank but in reality will not. The problem is the rod/stroke ratio. The rod is too short for the bore size so they compensated by lowering the port timings. Left as is the kit will make 5hp@8k rpm. It's not a screamer by any means. If you stroke it to 44mm, add an 85mm con rod, Raise the jug to compensate for the stroke, and port the hell out of it you can get up to 10-12hp out of it.
I think I will leave mine OEM, and just have a happy cruiser.
The oil coolers are a waste of time in a 50cc 4t.

someone i know called Albert wants to put a oil cooler on his 80cc bbk agility. but then he thought my exhaust wouldnt fit because my frame was bent (which it isnt) shows how much he knows...(the exhaust fits onto the engine itself and the frame has nothing to do with it...aaanyway just shows how little he knows so i guess he hasnt really thought the oil cooler through...

It's just truely sexy, but those machienes just beg to get their restrictions removed and get just a little bit tuning parts on them. One of these will easily go over 100 km/h with restrictions out and few tuning parts, and with tuning exhaust, 70cc cylinder and another gearing, it will go past 120 or 130 km/h.

Yeah, they are very powerful machienes. The one i linked to is said to have 8,5 hp standart according to the owner, but i cant find specifications on the net where horse powers or torque are told. :p

Think the grand daddy on the 50cc is the Asprilla RS50, they def do 70mph derestricted with no mods needed.

I just installed the seat back on, went for a cool ride 10 below O c. took a picture of the lights and new seat rebuild , raised seat level 2 in. and back 2 in. finaly got all the lights working, thanks to admore lights for there help,

I notice the shock extender on your black scoot.
Why did you do that?
I tried to increase my clearances at my rear shocks on my LIKE by doing this (hard to find the extenders - had to get them from Australia) 0 but L side would not accept the extender without some grinding to the grear box area - so could not use them. I know the extenders do not increase the shock travel - also working on finding a slightly longer shock for the LIKE. Progressives won't work according to the Rep.
Just curious why you're using one.
